We regret to announce that Pitch Expo Toronto will not take place in September of 2008. Don't worry - we are currently in the planning stages of future Pitch Expo events.

The happy news is that Kim Sparks and her husband are busy taking care of their new baby, Claire. Because of the time and effort that goes in to organizing Pitch Expo, we aren't able to devote the attention to the event that it needs. Baby Claire is monopolizing things for a while. Rather than have a Pitch Expo that is not up to our standards, we have elected not to hold one in September of 2008.

We have had many enthusiastic inquiries from both industry executives and participants, and we can tell you that we will be back in 2009. In fact, we may be back sooner than that as we are planning some additional, different Pitch Expo events that will put you in face-to-face contact with other people in the industry that can help you.

Please give us a shout if you would like to be kept up to date about our future events and plans.

Looking forward to seeing you (and introducing you to Claire),

The Pitch Expo Team

Do you have a great idea for a film or television show?  Looking for a way to get your project made?

Pitch Expo Toronto is a one-day event where you have a chance to pitch your project(s) to top industry professionals in a series of short, one-on-one meetings.

The first two Pitch Expos included in-person representatives from companies such as Barna-Alper Productions, Nelvana, S & S Productions, and Portfolio Entertainment.  This year we've confirmed another great line up of production companies, broadcasters, distributors, and agents, including:  Blueprint Entertainment (Whistler), Elysian Entertainment (Monster Hunter), Belladonna Productions (Transamerica), and Canamedia Productions (Chef at large).  Please see the Industry page for a full list.

Everything from TV series, feature films, children's programs, and reality TV to animation, documentaries, and MOWs was pitched to executives with the power to take your idea from concept to broadcast.

Writers, producers, directors - anyone with a great idea is welcome to attend!
